After nearly 8 years of supporting Willow Burn Hospice and over £150,000 raised by the company and its staff so far, Elddis today launched the latest fund raising initiative for this amazing charity. The NEW Willow Burn truck, a DAF rigid with the distinctive number plate W111OWH will deliver throughout the North East and on its rear doors will promote Willow Burns Sponsor a Nurse Campaign. In addition to this promotion Elddis have made a commitment to make a monthly donation to support this great cause. If you want to also help you can visit www.willow-burn.co.uk or text WBNR26 to 70070 with your donation.

Elddis have extended there longstanding support for Willow Burn Hospice by this month donating a van to the charity. The specially liveried van will be used to collect large charitable donations and move stock to and from the Willow Burn Shops and their storage facility, also donated to them by Elddis. Looking after our local community is a key driver within Elddis and our support of Willow Burn is something we are very proud of.

Congratulations to Elddis MD – Nigel Cook who received the Consett Rotary Club Community Services Award 2014 for his Charity Work and Contribution to the local community. A great further of the work Elddis does for both Willow Burn Hospice and the Local Community.

With a further significant investment in the North East, Elddis have opened a State of the Art VOSA Alternative Testing Facility at our Consett site. This will allow both Elddis and third parties to MOT HGV vehicles as well as Buses and Coaches in Consett, instead of having to travel to either Gosforth or Darlington which is the previous alternatives. This will save Elddis 25,000 road miles alone and provide a significant benefit to other operators.
